Valhalla Norwegian EU Organic Salmon is produced in partnership with a collective of EU organic-certified, independently owned farms. To deliver certified EU organic salmon year-round, our artisanal Norwegian Salmon Farms work together to ensure a consistent supply of outstanding premium EU Organic Salmon that lives up to the standards of the Valhalla brand. Our Organic Salmon is processed at our facility in Norway, then packaged and shipped direct to ensure exceptional taste and freshness.

Sourced from Scotland, Norway and the Faroe Islands, Briggs & Co Smoked Salmon is made from premium, hand-selected Atlantic Salmon. Our salmon are delivered fresh and then cured by hand using sea salt and brown sugar, before being small-batch smoked using aged oak whisky barrels in our UK facility. The final result is an outstanding Smoked Salmon that we believe Winston Churchill would have approved of!

Our mission at the Educated Fish Co. is to help people all across America eat better fish. Our premium Atlantic salmon is healthy, delicious and sustainably raised – specializing in EU Organic Salmon, a certification only held by a few select Atlantic salmon farms and governed by stringent guidelines and rigorous testing. As part of our mission, we identify and promote aquaculture that helps safeguard our food security today and contributes towards a truly sustainable tomorrow. The Educated Fish Co. team are experts in bringing only the finest UK and Nordic salmon to the US market, delivered fresh to some of the best-known retailers and restaurants across the country.

 

Our founder, James Macknight, grew up in a small fishing town on the west coast of Scotland, where he would catch wild Atlantic salmon in the River Stinchar spring run and sell them direct to local hotels and restaurants. That entrepreneurial spirit and love of Atlantic salmon has only grown over the last three decades, with a continued focus on sustainable seafood, education, innovative distribution models and speciality technology in aquaculture.
